My goal is to bring passion, empathy, excellence, integrity, and humor to my patients and colleagues.
I love to play outdoors: rock climbing, mountaineering, skiing, mountain biking, endurance sports, and hiking with my family. At home, I enjoy playing Legos, Nerf battles, and reading with my young boys, Elias and Silas. My wife Amanda and I like to travel, garden, cook, host dinner parties, and watch nerdy TV shows and movies. I’m usually wearing really goofy socks!

Hi, I’m Roxy, a Registered Nurse with a background in emergency medicine and a passion for aesthetics. With years of experience critical care, I bring a skilled, safety-focused, and artistic approach to every treatment. My goal is to help clients look and feel their best—confident, refreshed, and natural.
I have two teenage boys and enjoy hiking, paddle boarding and music festivals.
Secret RF microneedling is my favorite treatment because it combines the rejuvenating power of microneedling with targeted radiofrequency energy to address skin texture, fine lines, and laxity all at once. The results are both subtle and transformative, with minimal downtime and natural-looking improvements over time. Hello, everyone! I am a co-founder and the practice manager here at Valar. Dr. Bauer and I worked together for about 5 years before establishing Valar Aesthetics in 2021, and I am so proud and thankful to everyone involved for what we have been able to accomplish.
I really enjoy being a nerd and playing video games and reading/listening to audiobooks. I am always on board for a creative project such as painting, as well!
My favorite treatment is certainly our CO2 laser skin resurfacing. I have had a couple treatments, and it has worked wonders for my acne scarring!

My name is Terena and I am a licensed aesthetician with advanced training in corrective skincare, including chemical peels, microneeding, lasers and custom facial treatments. Known for a gentle touch and a clinical approach, I create customized facials and treatment plans that target underlying skin concerns while supporting long-term skin health.
While I believe true beauty comes from within, we all shine a bit brighter when we feel confident with our appearance.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and animals, gardening, sewing, crafting and attending concerts.
